Master Runner

Master Runner is a lighthearted side-scrolling endless runner developed for fun and featured in a devlog video on my YouTube channel. Inspired by a standout action sequence from the Tamil film Master, the game puts you in the shoes of Vijay—mid-sprint—dodging whatever the world throws at him.

The gameplay is fast-paced and intentionally over-the-top: Vijay runs automatically, and it’s up to you to time your jumps and dodges to avoid an increasingly chaotic stream of obstacles. With every passing second, the speed ramps up, making it harder to survive and keep your flow going. The goal? Go as far as you can without crashing—pure arcade-style action.

This was a fun experiment in side-scroller mechanics, collision detection, and keeping the pacing tight. Made in a short span purely for entertainment and creative practice, Master Runner doesn’t take itself too seriously—but it’s surprisingly addictive once you get in the zone.
